Job Description:

Allegria Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Port Jefferson is looking for a Registered Nurse Supervisor to fulfill the 3pm to 11pm shift and also 11pm to 7am shift including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising the Nursing Staff to ensure the operational standards of the facility are met
• Initiates and assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services
• Demonstrates adequate appropriate documentation in the resident's record, follows documentation requirements, policy, procedure
• Makes rounds on nursing unit daily
• Treats residents and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of residents and their families

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a current NYS Nursing License
• Experienced or newly licensed applicants welcome
