Recreation Director
Job Description:
The Recreation Director will implement a variety of group activities and programs based on Resident's individual abilities and preference to encourage and promote Resident participation. Successful candidate must be compassionate, creative, energetic and enthusiastic with the desire to enhance the quality of life of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Plans a variety of engaging activity programs for all days of the week
- Plans activities that are appropriate to the needs of the residents
- Prepares a monthly calendar of activities
- Must enjoy working with senior population
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Prior long-term care experience is preferred
- Good verbal communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood
